Music is a universal language, full of emotions and rich in cultural traditions. The child, by interacting with the soundscape, develops his cognitive and relational skills, learns to perceive, listen, search and discriminate sounds within significant learning contexts. Explore your expressive possibilities, increasing your confidence in your potential.

Listening to personal sound productions opens him up to the joy of making music and sharing repertoires belonging to various musical genres. The Willems method is based on the close link between music and man. The educational itinerary is based on lived knowledge of the constituent elements of music. The development of the methodology follows the learning process of the mother tongue, from a global to an analytical framework. Basic musical education aims to refine the musical ear and awaken the rhythmic instinct, both very important as the foundations of solfeggio, which in turn is indispensable for singing and reading a score. The Willems method uses the effectiveness of the experience lived by the child in order to make the transition from instinctiveness to automatisms gradual through awareness.

One of the strengths of the methodology is represented by singing. In fact, it holds a fundamental position as it promotes affectivity, i.e. musical sensitivity. Children acquire a simple musical vocabulary which allows them to identify concrete musical elements such as pitch, tone, interval, timbre, chord, melody, rhythm, tempo, notation.
